What is JC Kids?

At this time we have reopened our nursery for ages 3 and under!
All other ages will continue to join their families in our main service, worship bags for kids are available!

Every Sunday, all children (infants through 5th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative, engaging, and relevant way. We believe church should be fun, God loves to hear kids laugh, and that active faith begins with children.

Your First Visit!

Look for our JC KIDS banner as soon as you walk in the church and we’ll help you get started. We will meet your family, check your child into our secure system
and answer any questions.

We will ask for the following information: family members’ names, children’s names and birthdates, address, phone number, email address, and any special instructions (including allergies or special needs) for your child. This is to ensure their safety at all times, and to equip us to give them the best possible experience!

During Service

We believe that worship is a family experience. We love to see children looking up to their parents as they worship! So during the first half of service, children in kindergarten - 5th grade come to worship with their families.

At welcome time, before the sermon, they will be dismissed to their own unique experience to learn about God. Pre-school and nursery age rooms are open at 9:45 before worship begins.

Safety

We believe that it is of the utmost importance that our children are nurtured in a safe and responsible environment.

Each adult volunteer in our ministry is required to complete a background check.
While we encourage mature middle and high school students to serve in our ministry, we require that they be paired with a background checked adult.
Check-Ins are utilized to make sure we get any information about your child that we need in order to keep them safe; including medical and familial circumstances.
Children’s Pastor is CPR and First Aid trained.
