What is JC Kids?

Every Sunday, all children (infants through 5th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative, engaging, and relevant way. We believe church should be fun, God loves to hear kids laugh, and that active faith begins with children.

Your First Visit!

Look for our Check In station as soon as you walk in the church and we’ll help you get started. We will meet your family, check your family into our secure system
and answer any questions.

We will ask for the following information: family members’ names, children’s names and birthdates, address, phone number, email address, and any special instructions (including allergies or special needs) for your child. They will then supply you with a name badge for your child, as well as a security tag for you to keep till pickup after service. This is to ensure their safety at all times, and to equip us to give your family the best possible experience!

During Service

We believe that worship is a family experience. We love to see children looking up to their parents as they worship! So during the first half of service, children in kindergarten - 5th grade come to worship with their families.

At welcome time, before the sermon, they will be dismissed to their own unique experience to learn about making wiser choices, building stronger relationships, and developing a deeper faith.

Babies?

Nursery and pre-school age rooms are open at 8:00am for parents or caregivers that are serving, and remain open for drop off any time before or during service.

Safety

We believe that it is of the utmost importance that our children are nurtured in a safe and responsible environment.
  • Each adult volunteer in our ministry is required to complete a background check.
  • While we encourage mature middle and high school students to serve in our ministry, we require that they serve with a background checked adult.
  • Check-Ins are utilized to make sure we get any information about your child that we need in order to keep them safe; including medical and familial circumstances.
  • Children’s Pastor is CPR and First Aid trained.
