Tomorrow Matters

October 27, 2024

“Don’t store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves don’t break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Matthew 6:19–21

Your life is too valuable, your calling too great, and your God too good to waste your life on meaningless things.

Tomorrow matters because Jesus uses you to bring Hope, Healing, and wholeness.

Question: Do you think about the future? Your future? Your families future? Do you succumb to the urgency of “right now” more than you should?

The urgency of "right now" robs us of blessing tomorrow.

The wise have wealth and luxury, but fools spend whatever they get. Proverbs 21:20

God desires you to invest for Good.

You can take what you have and spend it all and it goes away, or you can invest some wisely.

Question: Do you have a consistent plan to invest your time, talent, and treasure in your tomorrow? A plan for your later years? A plan for your family’s future?
Invest Today for Tomorrow.

1. Don't invest in things you don't understand.
By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures. Proverbs 24:3-4

2. Don't put all your eggs in one basket.
But divide your investments among many places, for you do not know what risks might lie ahead. Ecclesiastes 11:2 NLT

3. Don't try to get rich quick.
Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. 1 Timothy 6:9

4. Don’t be a investment sprinter, be a Marathon investor.
Dishonest money dwindles away, but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow. Proverbs 13:11

Money + Consistency + Time = Wealth

Tomorrow matters because Jesus uses you to bring Hope, Healing, and wholeness.
