Question: What defines your faith, attending church, speaking the language, bible studies, etc. Those can be good, but can you identify when you said to God, I surrender, I need you, please rescue me and take over my life?

God is righteous means:
to be straight
to pass inspection
approval of a high standard
to be right with someone.

“To be presentable, in order to please someone, or not to be ashamed”. Dr. Tim Keller

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33

Authentic worship is dependent on us to open our hearts in the expectation that God will fill us with his righteousness.

Student Shannon Marie said about the revival:
No one is serving donuts. Not a single smoke machine.
No fancy lights. No timers. No perfect productions.
No leader and no ‘teams’. No hierarchy or competition. No kids class. Nobody greets you in the parking lot.
Literally no structure whatsoever.
Apparently the only thing needed to attract people to GOD is… God.

Question: When you go to worship, what are you looking for? What are you expecting? Do you expect God to do some great thing in your life, or just deliver a great time of worship via a music team, a pastor, etc.?

The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

You don’t get Jesus in varying degrees. You get all of him or none of him.
