How Our Church Becomes a Beacon

“You are the light of the world. A city situated on a hill cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and puts it under a basket, but rather on a lampstand, and it gives light for all who are in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:14–16.

We are to Go into the world, building relationships while sharing the truth and power of the gospel.

Gospel. Groups, and Go!

We exist to engage you with the love of Christ so that all people may experience Hope, Healing, and Wholeness.

I see The Journey Church as a Beacon directing people to hope, healing, and Wholeness.

Question: If you confess that Jesus is the Son of God who is God, and that you trust in and follow him – how do you see yourself as part of the body of believers in this world who also follow Jesus? 

Practically Being a Beacon
At the Journey Church, prayer must be our fuel for ministry.
At the Journey Church, we must disciple others as we are being discipled.
At the Journey Church, we must be strategic in how we gather.
At The Journey Church, we must foster generous hearts.
