Question: Where, or from whom, did you receive wisdom as you grew up?

Wisdom is knowing the right thing to do and then doing it.
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and discipline. Proverbs 1:7

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace-loving, gentle, compliant, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without pretense. James 3:17

Connect your kids to the to the source of wisdom, which is God.

They will have a stronger and clearer identity.
They will also have hope.

 Stages of Parenting.
1. Discipline stage. 0-5 years
Discipline for: Disobedience. Dishonesty. And Disrespect.
Celebrate: Obedience, Honesty, and Respect.
Discipline your child, and it will bring you peace of mind and give you delight. Proverbs 29:17

2. Training Stage. 6-12 years
Give your kids the skills they need to thrive, function, and contribute.
don’t stir up anger in your children, but bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord. Ephesians 6:4

3. Coaching Stage. 13-18 years.
Care about your kids more than the performance.
Express confidence in their character.
Affirm their gifts.
Direct them to trust in God, no matter the outcome.
Empower your kids with wisdom.
They will have a positive identity that is fostered in someone who has a hope and a positive future.
They will grow to become an empowered person who has a role and a purpose in the community.
